Come to the By George country home kitchen in West Gippsland and learn the basics of baking your own artisan sourdough at home.
This comprehensive class will cover:
Starter culture creation and maintenance
All the steps to baking white, light rye and flavoured sourdough from your home kitchen, including:
Mixing
Proofing
Shaping
Slashing
Oven management/baking
Options for baking schedules including fridge retardation for long fermentations
Other inclusions:
Welcome refreshments
Generous antipasti and a glass of something lovely to accompany our finished loaves
Small class size allowing all participants to get hands on experience at every step of the process

Dough to take home so you can practice your new skills straight away
